About Protect PDF
Protect PDF adds a password required to open the document and can optionally restrict printing. It is intended for sharing files that should not be casually opened by unauthorized recipients.
When to use this tool
Keep the password in a safe place: PDFNest does not retain it, and a protected document cannot be opened later without the correct password.
